June “Ann” Cataldo

Cataldo, June “Ann” (Hogan) of Hingham, died August 31, 2013.

The beloved wife of 50 years to Louis A. Cataldo of Hingham. Devoted mother of Denise Little of R.I., Christopher Cataldo and his wife Thuy of NY, Paula Maxwell and her husband Robert of Pembroke, Andrea Kaplan and her husband Mark of VT and Matthew Cataldo and his wife Megan of Weymouth. Sister of Richard Hogan of Everett, Maureen Gaglione of Wilmington, Barbara McEttrick of Braintree and Arlene  Masiello of Wilmington. Ann is also survived by her 8 grandchildren whom she cherished.

A long time Hingham resident, Ann worked as a paraprofessional at the Hingham Middle School for 27 years. She was the past President of both the Catholic Women’s Club as well as the Hingham Mother’s Club. The cornerstone of her life was her family, especially her grandchildren. Ann will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all those who were blessed to have had her in their lives.   

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Church of the Resurrection, Hingham at 10 AM. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.

In lieu of flowers,  donations in memory of Ann may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
