June A. Flaherty

Flaherty, June A. (Palermo) raised in East Boston, formally of Weymouth, passed away November 2, 2013 at the New England Home for the Deaf. 

June attended Boston School of the deaf and the Helen Keller Center for deaf and blind in Long Island.  She was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox.  June enjoyed playing cards, cribbage, bingo and bowling.  She had a love for animals.  June will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. 

Pre deceased by her husband Thomas F. Flaherty.  Beloved mother of Ann Flaherty and her fiancé Thomas Crossen of PA.  Loving nana of Alyssa Endres of TX.  Caring sister of Jacqueline Nickerson of NH, twin, Joan Smith and the late George Palermo.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.    

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, South Weymouth.
