Folmsbee, Julia I. “Judy” (Pearce) of Quincy, formerly of Hingham, March 2, 2008. Wife of the late Floyd Folmsbee. Loving mother of Priscilla L. Fields of Sandwich. Devoted “Gram” of Justine Fields-Dion of Hingham, Sheila Reitano of Methuen, and David Fields of Brockton. Sister of Lillian Thomas of East Orleans, Marian Hill of of NY & FL, Marjorie Curtis of Hingham & FL, Elizabeth Houston of Amherst, Dorothy Tracy of Gardner, Geraldine Sweeney of Lakeville, and the late John, James, and Florence Pearce. Also survived by 5 great grandchildren. Judy was a 1934 graduate of Quincy High School. She worked as an executive assistant for Hitchcock Shoe Company in Hingham for 20 years, retiring in 1982. She loved music and was a multi-instrumentalist. A lifelong learner and a natural athlete, she scored a hole in one at the South Shore Country Club in the 1950s. She was also a life member of the Rosicrucian Order (AMORC). Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the memorial service in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM, Saturday at Noon. Memorial visitation prior to service from 10:30 AM to Noon. In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree, kiss your child, hug your partner or perform a random act of kindness for a stranger.
