Judy Smedile

Smedile, Judy (Wells) of Rockland, formerly of Pepperell, October 14, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Francis B. Smedile. Loving mother of Francis J. of Stoughton, Karen and her husband Paul Spitz of Hanover, Kenneth and Derek, both of Rockland. Devoted “Grammy” to Jonathan, Rachel, Stephanie and Mackenzie. Cherished sister of Doreen Whalen of FL, Joan Cannon of Norwood, Natalie Flynn of S. Boston and Jacqueline Ryan of Malden. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Judy’s family was the major focus of her life. She enjoyed spending time with and celebrating the accomplishments of her children, grandchildren, sisters, nieces and nephews. Judy worked for ten years as a receptionist at Arbella Insurance until her illness prevented her from doing so. Judy had a friendly disposition and never forgot a face. She was unselfish, always putting other people’s needs above her own. Judy loved life and had a wonderful sense of humor. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Friday at 10:30 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM.
