Judith M. Brown

Brown, Judith M. (Crawford) of Quincy, passed away May 7, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.  

Judy adored her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time in her pool. She worked as a monitor on a special needs bus for Quincy Public Schools for over 20 years and also worked in the cafeteria at Merrymount Elementary School. Judy was warm, loving, friendly, and enjoyed talking to anyone she met. She was a strong, generous, and nurturing woman who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. 

Daughter of the late Hugh and Mary Crawford. Beloved wife of 44 years to Douglas P. Brown of Quincy. Loving mother of Pamela Bentley and her husband Mark, Doug Brown and his wife Aviana, and Paul Brown, all of Quincy. Cherished sister of Mary Gibson of Quincy. Devoted nana of Veronica, Victoria, and Vivian. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 9-10 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY followed by the funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Judy may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
