Judith Marie Reichardt Grossman, Age 55 Of Duncanville Texas formally of Hingham MA, Passed away Dec. 24th at home surrounded by her family and friends after a long battle with cancer.
Judi grew up in Hingham and went on to graduate from Hingham High School and Burdett School of Boston. She worked for the GSA as a Contract Officer. She was a member of the Down Syndrome Guild and a supporter of the Special Olympics, Buddy Walk and the National Down Syndrome Society.
She is survived by her twin sons Sam and Patrick of Duncanville Tx, her mother Kathleen Fitzpatrick Reichardt of Hull, her brothers John Reichardt and his wife Pauline of Weymouth, James Reichardt and his fiance’ Kathleen Sweeney of Lakeville, as well as many cousins nieces and nephews.
Judi’s Devotion to her sons was only matched by her passion for life. She enjoyed painting, shopping, socializing and her outings with her groups “Around Town Arlington” and her ROA Sisters where she made so many close friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday Jan. 2 from 4-8 pm at the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, Hingham. A celebration of life will be held Saturday Jan. 3rd at 9 AM in Pyne Keohane Funeral Home followed by a Mass to be held at St. Anthony’s Cohasset at 10 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Special Olympics (www.specialolympics.org) or the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (www.pancan.org) in Judith’s honor.
