Judith Barrows

Judith Barrows, 85 of Hingham, MA passed away peacefully on May 20, 2022. She was predeceased by her husband Robert “Bob” Barrows in 2012. Judy is survived by her son Kenneth Barrows, her daughter Kathleen Hollander and her grandchildren Madison and Kyle Barrows. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Judy and Bob were both pilots and loved to take to the skies at every opportunity. She took pride in the home they built. She loved her neighborhood, her garden, the beach and exploring the wonders of the South Shore. Judy was very creative. She was an accomplished seamstress and quilter. Her proudest accomplishments were the intricate Kilts she made for a local Scotsman. Judy love to travel, visiting her children in Hawaii and Florida as well as venturing to Iceland, Alaska, Europe and the Grand Canyon. In her later years she enjoyed Art classes at the Senior Center and taking short trips around New England.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 in the High Street Cemetery Chapel. Hingham at 5pm.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at her home.

Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Judy may be made to the Scituate Animal Shelter, 70 Chief Justice Cushing Highway, Scituate, MA .
