Layden, Judith A. “Cissy” (O’Brien) of Quincy, March 14, 2007. The beloved wife of Kevin Layden of Quincy. Loving mother of Patrick Layden and his wife Marie of Boston, Janet and her husband Joseph Kent of Hanson,Devin Layden of Quincy and the late Judyanne Layden. Sister of Timothy O’Brien of Milton and Jack O’Brien of Nantucket. Devoted grandmother of Brendon, Katelyn, Timothy, Danny and Josh and many other loved ones. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Monday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 2- 6 PM. Cremation will follow. Donations in memory of Judith may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, MA Affiliate, PO Box 845037, Boston, MA 02284-5037. Cissy was born in Boston . She worked as a nurse at Brigham & Women’s Hospital for about 12 years. She was a loving and caring women who adored her family. She was an avid reader who also enjoyed crocheting and shopping sprees. She was a fabulous cook who enjoyed cooking for her family. Cissy love to be with her grandchildren and enjoyed taking them to “plasta time” where they could make art work of there own. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her.
