Baker, Joyce I. (Butler) of Quincy March 31, 2007. Beloved wife of Lawrence W. Baker. Loving mother of D. Peter Collins of Middleboro, Adam J. Baker of Coral Gables, FL and Nathan S. and his wife Paula Baker of Quincy. Cherished grandmother of Heather, Sarah and Noah Baker. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St.,(WOLLASTON)Thursday at 9 AM. Blessing in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10:00 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday 3 – 7 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery. A noted Quincy activist, Mrs Baker was a co-founder of Dove, past president of the Quincy Historical Society,charter member of the Quincy Partnership, past president of the South Shore Realtor’s Board and Board member of the River Bay tenant advisory. She was active in the State Republican Party, having unsuccessfully run for State Senate in the early 70’s. Mrs.Baker worked with the the Jack Conway Realtors and with City View Real Estate in Quincy during her career.
