Joyce Alice Wakely

Wakely, Joyce Alice (nee Cotter), age 63, resident of Hingham, passed away on March 25, 2015.

Prior to her becoming ill in 2013, Ms. Wakely had been a registered nurse for over 40 years, most recently having worked in the intensive care unit of South Shore Hospital.

Joyce was the daughter of Richard J. and Alice A. Cotter, both of whom were born in Chelsea and lived there for many years before moving to Medford in 1950. Joyce leaves three siblings: Richard E. Cotter of Mesa, Arizona; Paul T. Cotter of Tampa, Florida; and Barbara A. DiFranza of Reno, Nevada. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-4 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Joyce may be made to VNA Care Hospice, 5 Federal Street, Danvers, MA 01923.
