Joyce A. Coughlin

Coughlin, Joyce A. (Kammer) of Quincy, passed away April 26, 2011. Beloved wife of Jeremiah “Tiny” Coughlin of Quincy. Loving mother of David Saulters Jr. of Quincy. Devoted stepmother of Geraldine Spano and her husband Michael of Rockland, Joan Coughlin of Dorchester and the late Patricia Hickey, Kevin and Gregg Coughlin. Sister of Jeanne St. John and her husband Robert of N. Weymouth, Robert Kammer and his wife Jean of Hanover and Richard Kammer and his wife Pamela of Dorchester. Joyce is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many grandchildren. Joyce was born in Boston and raised in Dorchester before moving to Quincy where she lived for the past 45 years. Joyce was a graduate of the Jeremiah E. Burke School in Dorchester class of 1959. Joyce worked at Carney Hospital for for 10 years before retiring in 2001. Joyce enjoyed photography, reading and family gatherings. She was a member of the Castle Island Association. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
