Paul, Joshua B. “Josh” of Boston, 38, passed away unexpectedly, February 4, 2022. Josh was born in Hartford, Connecticut and grew up in Simsbury. He was a graduate of Simsbury High School and The University of Connecticut. Josh was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Double E Company. Prior to joining Double E, he had various sales leadership roles focused on commercial business development, developing emerging markets and sales strategies. A natural leader, Josh’s success came from the relationships he built that spanned across the globe. Josh was charismatic, charming, and sincere. He lit up every room he walked into; he was instantly likeable – to know him was to love him.
Outside of his professional life, Josh was an avid golfer, Boston sports fan, and a world traveler. He loved bringing people together on the golf course or to watch a Patriots game – Josh was endlessly generous, fun loving, and hospitable. He was dedicated to his family and friends. He lived to make memories – and could always be counted on for a toast. He was happiest in the company of those he loved – and he gave his love so readily. He was warm, thoughtful, and kindhearted – Josh Paul was a true “friend to all”. But above all, his priority was his nine-month-old son, Wesley Paul, his wife of over ten years, Alexandra L. (Loughlin) Paul, and their bulldog, Bernie.
Beloved son of Sheldon and Kathleen Paul of Simsbury, Connecticut, and son in law of Vincent and Claire Loughlin of Plymouth, Massachusetts. Dear brother of Cameron Paul and his wife Laura of Simsbury, Connecticut and Sarah Hearn and her husband Stephen of Reading, Massachusetts, and brother-in-law of Vincent Loughlin of Golden, Colorado. Cherished Uncle of Hayden and Makayla Paul and Hannah Hearn. Also survived by his grandmother Marian Paul of Pikesville, Maryland, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during calling hours from 3 to 6 Saturday afternoon, February 26, 2022, in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). A funeral service will be celebrated Sunday, February 27, 2022, at 10:30 AM in the South Shore Country Club at 274 South Street, Hingham, Massachusetts.
