Beauchamp, Josephine R. “Jo” (Cavanagh) (Colantuono) of Quincy, formerly of Hyde Park, May 28, 2009, after a lengthy, courageous battle with cancer.
Beloved wife of Hector “Beau” Beauchamp of Quincy, and the late William Cavanagh. Jo was a gourmet cook and a beloved mother who was actively involved in the raising of her children. They are Paul Beauchamp, world traveler, William Cavanagh and his wife JoAnn of Ashland, Stephen Cavanagh and his wife Chris of Plympton, Thomas Cavanagh and his wife Cindy of Quincy, Denise Barbuto and her husband Frank of Lakeville, Peter Beauchamp and his wife Stefanie of Hanover, and the late Joan Cavanagh. An adored “Gramie”, “Nana”, or “Nina” that loved to feed and spoil her grandchilden; Marc, Justin, Robert, Anthony, David, Ali, Kevin, Becca, Alex, Nicholas, Colin, Holly, Domenic, Tiffany, and Danielle, and five great grandchildren. Loving sister of Nicholas Colantuano of Dedham, Ann Ward of Sharon, Eleanor Barczak of Wakefield, Rosemarie Mariano of Walpole, and the late Millie DeNapoli and Elizabeth Kelly. She had a close relationship with many loving nieces and nephews.
Finally, Jo had inner peace, and was comforted by her faith with God.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Tuesday at 8:15 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 9 AM. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM. Burial in Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston.
