Josephine M. Silipo

Silipo, Josephine M. (Lombardo) of Hingham, March 10, 2005. The beloved wife of the late James Silipo. Loving Mother of Emily Whittum of Dover, NH, Marie A. Harper of Santa Fe, NM, Myra Santacroce of Pembroke, Christine Wilson of Sandwich and the late James Silipo. Sister of the late John & Elizabeth Lombardo and the late Mary Muzzi. Josephine is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Josephine was born in Hingham and lived in Hingham for most of her life. She loved to cook, bake and take care of her garden. She was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing. Her family remembers her as a woman before her time, learning to drive long before it was fashionable. But mostly, her daughters remembered how much she love to cook and make beautiful meals for her entire family.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Thursday at 10 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham at 11 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Burial in Saint Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
