Josephine M. Satkevich

Josephine M. (Sosnoski) Satkevich of Weymouth, died December 5, 2014 at the age of 95.

Josephine was born and raised in Hudson, MA graduating from St. Michael’s Academy, Class of 1936. She lived in Dorchester before moving to Weymouth for over 35 years ago where she volunteered for many Weymouth senior citizens programs including singing with the Weymouth choral group at local nursing homes. Josephine worked as an accountant at C.S. Draper Lab for 17 years, retiring in 1985. She was a prefect with the St. Peter’s Lithuanian Sodality in South Boston. She enjoyed bocce, cards, line dancing and was an avid reader. In her early years she also loved making desserts and hors d’oeuvres. She will be remembered for her joke telling and wonderful sense of humor.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Satkevich. Devoted mother of Edward C. Satkevich of N. Weymouth and the late Ronald J. Satkevich. Loving sister of Helen Bouffard of Martha’s Vineyard and the late Mildred Flynn. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dear friend of Veronica and Ruth.
