Inferrera, Josephine (Pepe) of Quincy, passed away on December 8, 2012, she was 86 The beloved wife of the late Orazio “Ray” Inferrera.Cherished mother of Paul Inferrera of Bonita Springs, FL and John Inferrera of Manhattan Beach, CA. Sister of the late Dolores McNamara, Antoinette Sheehan , Nicholas, Salvatore & Pasquale Pepe. Devoted grandmother to Paul Inferrera, Jr., Emily, Stephen, Elise and Oriana Inferrera. Josephine is also survived by her great grandson Ethan. Josephine grew up in the North End of Boston, she moved to Quincy many years ago. Josephine love to travel with her husband. Unfortunately, her husband Ray died suddenly at a very young age and she was left alone to raise her 2 sons. Josephine was a very strong and independent woman who took great care of not only her sons but her sisters and brothers as well. She faithfully visited her sisters whom were in various nursing homes, waiting hours for public transportation. She never complained about the trials in her life. She remained independent right up to the very end. She was a devout catholic and a daily communicant at St. Ann’s Church in Quincy. Josephine will be remembered as a caring and loving woman who will be sadly missed. May she rest in peace. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Boston.
