Josephine L. “Jessie” Brown

Mrs. Josephine L. “Jessie” (Michiche) Brown, of Weymouth, formerly of South Boston passed away on September 8, 2022. She was 98.

Jessie enjoyed Bingo, cooking and spending time with family and friends. 

Beloved wife of 38 years to the late John S. Brown. Loving mother of Anthony Bennett and his companion, Cheryl of Hingham, Thomas Bennett and his wife Barbara of Peabody and Christine Clooney and her husband Robert of Weymouth. Cherished Nana of Lisa, Cindy, Brian, Matthew, Kimberly and the late Michael and Scottie, also the Nana of 9 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings; Rose Chmieleski, Ginger Westbrook and Philip Mitchell.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday from 3 – 7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10 AM Cremation to follow.
