Josephine, “Jay” (Ternullo) Cristadoro, a longtime Hingham resident, died on June 30, 2018.
Jay was a ray of sunshine. The most beautiful rose in the garden. Always with a smile on her face and a kind word to say. She opened her arms and her heart to all. Her greatest joy in life was being married to the love of her life and mother to 8 children who adored her Jay was all about family. Sunday dinners were a must. It was a day for Jay to prepare one of her spectacular meals and for all of us to be together. It was Jay’s time to catch up with each and every one of us. This was of course after Sunday Mass for she was a woman of great faith. When she wasn’t busy being a homemaker and a skilled seamstress, Jay became a successful self-educated stock analyst. She didn’t need a college degree. She didn’t have time for that and it wasn’t her priority. Her family was. Jay was also a tireless advocate of Autism research. It was her passion. She spent thousand of hours over the last fifty years trying to find answers to that puzzle. That work will continue with her children.
Beloved wife of 70 years to the late Louis J. Cristadoro. The most beautiful, warm and loving mother to John Cristadoro of Quincy, Richie Cristadoro of Hull, Lou Cristadoro of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Carol Dominguez and her husband Mario of Cohasset, Joe Cristadoro and his wife Stephanie of Hanover, Lisa Harrington and her husband Bob of Hingham, and her brightest light, Michael Cristadoro of Hingham and the late Jim Cristadoro. Sister to Rose Sutcliffe of Lexington and the late Ann Orsi and James Ternullo. She is the cherished Nana to 13 Grandchildren, Jay is also survived by many well-loved nieces and nephews.
