Josephine F. “Jojo” Larner

Larner, Josephine F. “JoJo” (Faherty) of Quincy, March 3, 2008. Beloved wife of the late John J. Larner. Loving mother of Kathleen A. Nee and her husband Michael, Stephen J., Gingy Fidalgo and her husband Les; all of Quincy and James J. and his wife Kelly of Boston. Loving sister of Patricia Doherty of NH and the late Francis, John, Thomas, Edward and Margaret Faherty. Loving “JoJo” to Peter M. of Charleston, SC, Brendan J. of Quincy, Coleman P. of Hull, and Michael JF Nee of Quincy, John G., and Jason P. Fidalgo, both of Quincy, Caitriona Josephine and Colin John Larner; both of Boston. JoJo’s whole life centered around her loving family. She especially enjoyed time with her eight grandchildren. Mrs. Larner was a daily communicant at Star of the Sea Parish in Squantum. She also belonged to the Catholic Women’s Club. She enjoyed gardening, bowling, singing, dancing and crafts. She will be remembered as happy, generous, helpful and possessing a wonderful sense of humor. She was a 1937 graduate of North Quincy High School. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY Friday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
