Josephine Damore

Damore, Josephine “Jo” (Russo) of Dennis, formerly of Braintree, died on May 9, 2015.

The beloved wife of the late Eugene A. Damore. Loving mother of Gene Damore of AZ, Joseph Damore and his wife Peggy of Rockland, Tom Damore and his wife Lee of Abington and the late Michael Damore. Mother in law of Pam Damore of IN. Sister of Joseph Russo and his wife Mickie of Dorchester. Cherished sister in law of Virginia Moore of Quincy. Devoted grandmother to her 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Josephine enjoyed quilting, sewing and gardening. She was always ready for the challenge of a puzzle. The foundation of her life was her family; she cherished them all. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, a loving mother and a fun grammy. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew her. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
