Josephine Agostino

Agostino, Josephine (Morganelli) of Braintree, formerly of Quincy died September 8, 2014.

Beloved wife of the late John Agostino.  Loving mother of John Agostino and his wife Joanne of Braintree and the late Rosemarie Courtney.   Devoted sister of Eleanora Bonelli of Quincy and the late Thomas Morganelli, Carmine Morganelli, Phyllis Mangiacotti, Regina Mele and baby Joseph who died at infancy.  Cherished grandmother of Paula Agostino of Braintree, Jay Agostino of Hanover, Susan Camillo of Mansfield and Thomas Courtney of New Hampshire.  Great-grandmother of Jenna, Celina, Danielle, Taylor, Stephanie, Joshua, Justice and Takoda.  Josephine is also lovingly survived by her nieces and nephews.

Josephine was born and raised in Boston.  She settled in Quincy where she lived for over 40 years.  Josephine worked for Atlas Engineering for many years before retiring.  She enjoyed crocheting, singing, line dancing and playing bingo.  Josephine’s true passion was her family, she loved each and every one of them throughout her one hundred years of life.  She will be truly missed by all who had the pleasure to have known her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 3-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:00 AM Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree at 11:00 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
