Josephine A. Abbott

Abbott, Josephine A. of Quincy, after a brief illness died on February 13, 2016.

The beloved wife of the late Myles E. Abbott. Loving Godmother of John DiStefano of Quincy and Pamela Cullen of Marshfield. Lifelong and dear friend of Concetta DiStefano of Quincy. Sister in Law of Loretta Patrolia of Marshfield.

Josephine worked as a secretary for Sears for many years before her retirement.  An avid reader, she also enjoyed traveling and loved to cook. Her faith and her family were the cornerstone of what was truly important to her. She will be sadly missed.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 5-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, North Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Boston.
