Joseph V. White

White, Joseph V. of Quincy formerly of Hingham January 16, 2009. Beloved husband of Lillian M. (Dooley) White. Loving father of Robert D. White of Manchester, CT, and David J. White of Seymour, CT. Brother of the late Estar Prentice. Special uncle of James Dooley of Marshfield and Janice and Arthur Keough and thier family of Milton. Also lovingly survived by 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Joseph was liquor salesman for Boston Beverage Company for many years before retiring in 1981. He was a well know Hingham and South Shore Artist . He enjoyed playing golf and was an avid pool player. Watching Red Sox and Patriots games was a favorite pastime. Joseph was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Paul’s Church in Hingham for many years. He was a devoted catholic and volunteered much of his time to St. Paul’s Parish. He loved his family and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., Hingham, Monday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 3- 6 PM. Burial will be at a later date.
