Joseph P. Striano

Striano, Joseph P. of Weymouth, 67 years old, owner of Jackson Square Paint, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, October 29, 2014.

Beloved husband of 42 years of Bessie (Oliverio) Striano of Weymouth.  Loving father of Tricia Striano of NY and Jeffrey Striano and his wife Susan of Norwell. Cherished “Grampy” of Joseph and his twin Giavanna. Loving brother of Anne Lefoley and her husband Gerald of RI and Alan Striano and his wife Anne of Florida.  Dear son-in-law of Albert Oliverio of Weymouth. Loving brother-in-law of Joseph Oliverio of Weymouth, Susan Oliverio and her husband Dennis Smith of Milton and Donna Pompeo and her husband Joseph of Weymouth.   He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.  For many years, he was a dedicated coach for Weymouth Youth Hockey.  He was a member of the Weymouth Elks, Lodge #2232 as well as a member of the Weymouth Sons of Italy.  He loved golfing and spending time with his family and friends. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off RT.3A-Bicknell Sq.).  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 10:00 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 11 AM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
