Podlaski, Joseph P. of Quincy April 1, 2005. Husband of the late Frances (Szkaplewicz) Podlaski. Devoted father of Joanna Grane of FL and her late husband Richard, Dorothy and her husband William Kallenberg of Quincy, Patricia and her husband Charles Anderson of Avon. Loving brother of Sophia Flate, Peter Podlaski and the late Alice Bikowski, Mary Pupek, and Valentine Podlaski. Beloved grandfather of Jospeph, Robert, and Scott Grane, Stephen, Thomas, and Daniel Kallenberg and James and Kevin Anderson. Cherished great-grandfather of Zachary Grane, Sean Kallenberg, Joseph and Keith Anderson. Loving step brother of Alexander Pupek, Marjorie Pupek, Dennis Collins and the late John Pupek. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Tuesday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Monday 2 – 4 PM and 7 – 9 PM. Burial in Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Boston. Joseph was a faithful parishioner of Sacred Heart Church on Hancock Street for over 50 years. Joseph was a devoted father and took enormous pride in his family. His family was his life and family gatherings were precious times to him. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren telling them about his life and experiences. He loved playing the organ and accordion and his imagination and talents for fixing or creating things made people marvel at his accomplishments. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed catching THE BIG BASS. He always had a kind word and smile for those he met. He touched many lives in such a special way and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He lived, loved and enjoyed life to the fullest. Dad, Grandpa, friend and neighbor – you’ll never be forgotten and forever in our hearts.
