Joseph P. Cronin

Joseph P. Cronin, 73 of Weymouth (formerly of Hingham), MA passed on Easter, April 9^th at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston.

Joe was born on February 28, 1950 in Dorchester, MA to parents John F. and Patricia R. (Ryan) Cronin. He went to English High School and spent many years working for the City of Boston; as Custodian in the Boston Public Schools and then in the Boston Public Library (rare books section). He loved to golf and was an active member of the Church of the Resurrection in Hingham for many years.

Joe is predeceased by his parents John F and Patricia R (Ryan) Cronin. He is survived by siblings: Patricia Sheets of Weymouth, MA; John Cronin and Virginia of Burlington, MA; James Cronin and Bette of Milton, MA; William Cronin of Weymouth, MA, Leo Cronin of Hingham, MA; Kathryn Myrick of Weymouth, MA and Stacey McGlame of W. Yarmouth, MA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews who gave him much joy.

Funeral service to be held at the Church of the Resurrection, 1057 Main St, Hingham, MA on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 10:00 am to be followed by burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, 121 Hersey Street, Hingham, MA.
