Joseph O'Neill

Joseph O’Neill of Hyde Park, formerly of South Boston and Dorchester, died October 25, 2024 at the age of 68. 

Joe was a hard working housepainter for many years and often listened to music as he worked. He enjoyed fishing and camping with family. 

He was the father of James McGlone of Westport and his fiancee Erin Fennelly. Proud "Grampa Joe" to Brenden and Brady McGlone. Son of the late Francis and Eleanor O'Neill. Loving brother of Arthur O’Neill and his wife Patricia of Scituate; Maureen Robinson and her husband William of AZ; William O’Neill and his wife Debbie of Weymouth; the late Edward O'Neill; the late Francis O'Neill; the late Ann Louse Colomarino; the late Daniel O'Neill; and the late Mary O'Neill. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday 10/29/2024 from 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 8:15 AM on Wednesday 10/30/2024 prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 9 AM. Burial in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
