Joseph M. Serafini

Joseph M. Serafini of Rockland, formerly of Weymouth, died June 11, 2017.

He worked as a sheet metal mechanic with Local #17 for many years. Joe was happiest in the sunshine and could usually be found fishing and boating. He enjoyed many winters in Florida with family and friends. Over the years Joe took pleasure in being a presence at the extracurricular activities of his children and grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.

Beloved husband of 49 years to Judy (Slavinsky) Serafini of Rockland. Devoted father of Mark Serafini and his wife Patricia of NJ and Todd Serafini and his wife Carolyn of Weymouth. Cherished Papa Joe of Alyssa, Christopher, Olivia and Hannah. Son of the late Italo and Irma Serafini of Weymouth. Loving brother of Christine Bovill of Rockland and the late David Serafini. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Memorial Mass on Thursday at 9 AM in Holy Family Church, Rockland.
