Joseph Leo Brooks, Sr.

Brooks, Joseph Leo, Sr. of Hingham, formerly of Dorchester, died March 27, 2014.

Joe was a teamster with Local 25. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and many friends.

Beloved husband of 43 years to Anita L. (Sarno) Brooks of Hingham. Devoted father of Melanie Bradford and her husband Lee of Keene, NH and Joe Brooks, Jr. and his wife Annemarie of Chicago, IL. Cherished “Grandpa” of Max, Isabelle, Chloe, Colin and Fenna. Loving brother of Richard Brooks, Sr. of Quincy, Robert Brooks, Sr. of N. Weymouth, Donna O’Neill of Hingham and the late Jack and William Brooks. “Uncle Joe” to Craig, Anthony, Ashley, Krysta, Ruthann, John Patrick, Megan, Richard, Stephen, Suzanne, Robin, Bobby, Brian, Brenda, Bernadette, Michael, Mary, Dennis, David, Teddy, Timmy, Christine, Billy, Julie and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Memorial Mass on Saturday in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Joe may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Center, 55 Fogg Road, Weymouth, MA 02190.
