Joseph L. Graham

Graham, Joseph L. (Ret. Lt. QFD) of Squantum, died on March 14, 2012. The beloved husband of the late Marie E. (Vitt) Graham. Cherished father of Diane M. Buscemi and her husband Ronald of Plymouth, Maureen Solari and her husband Michael of Norwell and Joseph “Billy” Graham of Holbrook. One of 14 children, Joe leaves his sisters, Helen Cecilian of Punta Gorda, FL, Patricia McIver and Anna Hutchings both of Squantum and his brother, Edward Graham of Weymouth. Devoted grandfather of Christopher & Brian Buscemi, James & Rachel Solari and Lauren Graham. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A longtime Squantum resident. Joe started his career with the Quincy Fire Department in May 1970 and proudly served for 28 years achieving the rank of Lieutenant, retiring in April of 1998. In his spare time, Joe worked as a self employed contractor. He was a member of the Quincy Lodge of Elks. Joe was an avid camper, he found great enjoyment traveling with his family. The essence of his life was his family, he was devoted to them. His passing leaves a void in their lives, but he will live on in their hearts forever. They are all very grateful for the many blessings he brought into their lives. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-7pm in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock ST. Quincy. A Celebration of Life service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15am on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10am. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
