McArdle, Joseph J., Jr. of Hough’s Neck, Quincy, January 3, 2009. Husband of the late Nancy (Morrell) McArdle. Loving father of Marie & husband D.J. Davis, Joseph J. , III & wife Dawn, all of Quincy, Michael S. & wife Suzanne, Frank & wife Leslie, all of Easton, and Sean R. & wife Beth of Quincy. Brother of William of Quincy, Frances Bishop of Keane, NH, Patricia Edgar of Hanover, Judith Holliday, and Theresa Leth, both of Quincy. Loving “Pa” to 11 grandchildren. Also lovingly survived by many nieces & nephews and his dog Jeb. Mr. McArdle worked as a repairman for the MBTA for many years. He was a member of the Quincy Yacht Club and a past Exalted Ruler of the Quincy Elks where he was very active. An avid outdoorsman, Mr. McArdle enjoyed horseback riding, boating, camping and hunting in MA, VT and NH. He was also a war history buff. He will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Wednesday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
