Lundbohm, Joseph H. Retired B.P.D. of Braintree formerly of Quincy and Dorchester, December 29, 2010. Beloved father of Robert P. Lundbohm, B.P.D. and his wife Patricia of Dorchester, Susan E. Greeley and her husband Brian of Milton, Attorney Steven M. Lundbohm and his wife Bernadette of Milton and the late Joseph P. Lundbohm. Loving companion of Judy Connolly of Braintree. Brother of Jean Miskel of NY and the late John, Paul, Robert and James Lundbohm, Mary MaGuire, Pauline Stanley and Roberta Hennessey. Devoted grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 1 greatgrandchild. Father in Law of Phyllis Lundbohm of Holbrook. Former husband of the late Ann L. Lundbohm. Joseph is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Joseph was born in Boston and grew up in the Savin Hill section of Dorchester. Joseph was a graduate of Cathedral High School in Boston. Joseph was detective for the Boston Police Department for 32 years before retiring in 1988. He was one of the founding members of the Boston Police Detective Benevolent Society and past commander of the William G. Walsh Post in Dorchester. Joseph was a caring person who took pride in helping others when ever he could; he was a friend of Bill W. Joseph enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure know him. Joseph was an Airborne Ranger and a proud United State Army Veteran. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Monday, January 03, 2011 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Tuesday, January 04, 2011 prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, North Quincy at 10:00 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Donations in memory of Joseph may be made to Fr. Bill’s Place, 38 Broad St.Quincy, MA 02169.
