Joseph H. Bosse

Joseph H. Bosse, 74, of South Weymouth, died June 22, 2015.

Joe grew up in Randolph and has resided in South Weymouth for 44 years. He was the owner of Side Rite Company for 45 years with his sons. Joe was an industry leader in home remodeling with thousands of customers all over the south shore. He passed his legacy of superb craftsmanship onto his sons Joe, Jr. and Derek, who will continue the family business. Joe also enjoyed traveling and playing an active role in the extra curricular activities of his grandchildren. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, devotion to his family and zest for life.

Beloved husband of 50 years to Janet (LaLond) Bosse of South Weymouth. Devoted father of Wendy Alexopoulos and her husband John of Hanson, Joe Bosse, Jr. and his wife Mia of Braintree and Derek Bosse and his wife Susan of Hanson. Cherished “Grampy” of Drew, Carly, Emma, Joey, Zachary, Jason, Kate, Michaela, Ryan and Brooke. Beloved son of Veronica Hegarty of Plymouth and the late Joseph H. Bosse. Loving brother of Jeanette Bourette of Texas, Jim Bosse and his wife Jeanne of Easton, Ron Bosse and his wife Diane of Plymouth, Darlene Leavitt and her husband Paul of Plymouth, Maureen Johnson and her husband Joe of Easton and the late Claire Whealan Burke. Brother in law of Bill, Bob, Jack and Jim LaLond. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM. Burial at a later date.
