Joseph F. Guido

Guido, Joseph F. “Joe” of Quincy, passed away peacefully March 17, 2021 surrounded by family.

Joe was a good and decent man. He had a quiet personality with a great sense of humor, but underneath this quiet manner, was a big generous heart and a deep love of family. He enjoyed trips to Disney World, Plymouth, Ogunquit, and in his younger days, ice fishing in Truro. Joe loved watching Boston sports, collecting stamps, playing golf, and going out on Sunday afternoons with his son Matt to his favorite restaurant, the 99. He worked as a bindery operator for many years. After retiring, he worked part time at Roche Brothers. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Son of the late Frank P. and Jennie (Scherban) Guido. Beloved and proud father of Matthew Guido of Cambridge. Loving brother of Judy Casey and her husband Tom of Quincy, Lil Dedominici and her late husband Joe of Weymouth, Fran McKinnon and her husband Tom of Milton, and Frank Guido and his wife Karen of Norton. Former husband and friend of Kathy Guido of Abington. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A funeral home service will be celebrated on Tuesday at 12:30 PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joe may be made to The Marc A.
