Joseph Ellis Mogelson

Mogelson, Joseph Ellis of Hingham, formerly of Mississippi, died March 8, 2017.  

Joseph grew up in Minnesota, married the love of his life Rose and spent his married life in Mississippi, and eventually moved to Hingham 11 years ago. He spent time enlisted in the Army Air Corps as a pilot. He loved to fly and enjoyed teaching others how to fly. When he was not able to fly, he would use computer simulation to fly across the entire world. It was the cornerstone of his life. Joseph loved to collect jokes and sent them to a select list of friends and family. He was a sweet and kind gentleman. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Loving husband of 67 years to the late Rose Dravin Mogelson. Caring father to Joyce M. Traina and her husband Carl of Hingham, and Stanley Mogelson and his wife Patti Riley of PA. Cherished grandfather to Luke Abraham Mogelson, Jacob Allen Mogelson, Zachary Jarrod Traina, Jeffrey Adam Traina and Jocelyn Traina Compton.

 Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service  on Thursday at 11 AM in Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, Hingham. Burial in Lindwood Memorial Park, Randolph.
