Joseph E. Robinson

Robinson, Joseph E. of Weymouth, passed away at his home that he so loved and built in 1952, on September 29, 2015.

Beloved husband of the late Marion A. (O’Connor) Robinson. Loving father of Steven E. Robinson and his wife Susan of Sharon and Nancy E. Robinson of Marston Mills. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer Robinson and Lisa Robinson and her husband Brad Rawson. Great grandfather of Atticus and Rider Kruzyk. 

A special thank you to Juliana Nti and Dr. Savitha Devi and her staff for all the loving care for our dad. 

Joseph proudly served his country as a Captain in the US Army during WWII, where he was stationed in India, Burma and China. He briefly served with the State Police as well as the Weymouth Police Department. He retired from Local #4 after he worked for many years as a hoisting engineer.  He was a member of the Weymouth Elks Lodge # 2232. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday at 11AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main St. (Rt. 18 opp. South Shore Hospital), Weymouth. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Plymouth, MA.
