Cullen, Joseph E. of Quincy and Estero, FL, formerly of Plymouth and Weymouth, May 23, 2008. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (West) Cullen. Loving father of Elizabeth McLean of Quincy, William and his wife Leona of Quincy, Terrance and his wife Charlene of FL, Alice Ash and her husband Richard of Weymouth, Patricia DiLillo and her husband Jerry of Weymouth, George and his wife Teri of FL, and the late Joseph and Eugene Cullen. Dear friend and companion of Vera Preibis of Norwood & FL. Brother of the late Frederick, Mary Quinn, Anna Cheney, Helena Carey and Josephine Bryant. Also survived by 20 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Joseph worked during the 1940’s and 1950’s as a Hood Milk delivery man. He then became an Alcoholic Counselor at the Veterans Administration in Brockton for 25 years, retiring in 1983. Following his retirement, Joseph worked part-time at Highpoint in Plymouth and Florida. He was a former member of the Elks in both Quincy and Bonita Springs, FL. Joseph has wintered in Estero, FL for the past 28 years. Mr. Cullen was an avid reader, Red Sox fan and had a great love of family and the outdoors. He is a 30 year Friend of Bill W. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY Friday at 10:30 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 11:30 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Burial in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, W. Quincy. Donations in memory of Mr Cullen may be made to Fr. Bill’s Place, 38 Broad St., Quincy, MA 02169.
