Joseph C. Tucci

Joseph C. Tucci of San Diego, CA, formerly of East Weymouth, passed away October 25th, 2016 at the age of 94.  

Joseph served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was the owner and operator of Joseph C. Tucci Plumbing and Heating, Inc. in East Weymouth for over 30 years.  Joseph was an avid golfer at South Shore Country Club in Hingham, a member of the Weymouth Son’s of Italy and a Past President of Weymouth Lion’s Club.  After retirement in 1984, Joseph and his wife Frances moved to Marco Island, Florida where Joseph loved boating and fishing with his friends for many years. 

The oldest Son of the late Charles and Angelina Tucci of Weymouth, Beloved Husband of the late Frances L. (Perkins) Tucci. Father of Kenneth J. Tucci of Naples, FL, Daniel C. Tucci and wife Lori of Del Mar, CA, Barbara F. Brooks and husband Craig of Menifee, CA and James E. Tucci of Weymouth.  Brother of Millie Shields of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Dorothy Monroe of Jacksonville, FL, Shirley Wall of Plymouth, and Donald Tucci of Weymouth.  Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Saturday November 5th from 10:00-11:00AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street) followed by a graveside service with military honors at Blue Hills Cemetery, Braintree at 11:30 AM.
