Shea, Joseph A. of Abington passed away October 2, 2017.

Joe was born and raised in Hyde Park. He worked for many years as a truck driver and also as a janitor at St. Marys Church in Waltham. Joe was a motorcycle enthusiast, liked to play pool, enjoyed visiting the beach and spending time with his family.

Son of the late Albert Shea and Mary (Vardaro) Shea. Loving father of Kimberly Bates of Weymouth, Heidi Bates of Abington and Joseph Shea Jr. of Abington. Beloved brother of Carol (Shea) Ubertini of Norwood and Albert Shea of Hyde Park. Cherished grandfather of Jenna Bates of Weymouth. Former husband of Marion (Kessener) Mahoney of Abington.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 1-4 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). A funeral service will be held on Friday at 4 PM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home.
