Gill, Joseph A. of Quincy January 5, 2003. Son of the late Coleman and Annie (Fitzpatrick) Gill. Brother of Peter Gill of FL, Coleman Gill of CA, Catherine McGue, Margaret “Dolly” King both of Quincy, Jeanne May of FL and the late Mary Zimmerman, Penolope Cahill and Thomas Gill. Also survived by many nephews, nieces, great nephews & great nieces. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Thursday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. Joe attended North Quincy High School. He served in the Navy during WWII aboard the LST 526 and was a member of the VFW Bryant Post #613. As a teamster, Local 25, Joe drove for Crown Linen for many years. He was Past President of the North Quincy Association which ran the 4th of July festivities at Welcome Young Field. Donations in memory of Joe may be made to Sacred Heart Church Building Fund, 386 Hancock St., N. Quincy, MA 02171.
