Joseph A. Deluca

Joseph A. DeLuca age 85 a lifelong resident of Weymouth passed away Jan. 5, 2013. 

Beloved husband of 63 years of Catherine (Colasanti) DeLuca.  Devoted father of Kathleen A. Casey of South Weymouth, Joseph A. DeLuca II and  his wife Cindy of Marshfield and Lori DeLuca Fardy and her Fianc’e Michael Lawson of Weymouth.  Loving grandfather of Adam Casey and his wife Erin, Ryan Casey and his wife Dawn Marie and Paul Casey, Joseph DeLuca III and his wife Christina and Jaclyn DeLuca and Jennifer and Michaela Fardy.   Brother of Dorothy Governor of Weymouth and the late Katherine McGlone, Mary Kosboski, Angelo DeLuca and John DeLuca.  Brother in law of Marion DelVecchio of Weymouth, Kathryn DeLuca of Weymouth and Albert Colasanti of Fl.  Also survived by 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

 Joe was the founder and owner of Delco Flooring in Weymouth.  He was a former director for 28 years for the Weymouth Bank.  Late member of the Weymouth Lodge Sons of Italy, Weymouth Elks and the American Legion.  Joe was an avid card player and could often be found trying his luck at Foxwoods Casino.  

 Funeral from the McDonald Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH  corner of Middle and Charles St. (at 3 Charles St.) Thursday at 8:00 A.M.  Funeral Mass to follow in Immaculate Conception Church, E. Weymouth at 9:00 A.M.  Relatives and friends invited.  Visiting hours Wednesday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M.  Interment will be at later date.  

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joe’s memory to the Charity of Your Choice.
