Joseph A. Canonico

Canonico, Joseph A. of Weymouth, formerly of Roslindale, 80, passed away November 8, 2021. Joseph was born in Boston to the late Anthony and Mary Canonico. He was raised in Roslindale and attended Boston Technical High School. Joseph was a proud United States Army veteran. He was a proud gold cardmember for over 50 years for Laborers Local 22. Joseph enjoyed gardening, cooking, spending time with his granddaughters and family, and watching the Patriots and Red Sox.

Loving father of Joseph Canonico and his wife Hope of Weymouth, Tina Diercks and her husband Greg of Plymouth, David Canonico of Hingham, the late Kevin Canonico and the late Justin Canonico. Dear brother of Eleanor Skehan and her husband Jack of Roslindale and Vincent Canonico and his late wife Cathy of Dedham. Cherished Pop Pop of Melyssa Canonico and Jennifer Diercks. Former husband of the late Sheila Canonico (Collins).

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Saturday, November 20, 2021, 10AM-12 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A graveside service will follow at 12:30 PM in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
