Joseph A. Bartoloni

Bartoloni, Joseph A. of Hingham, died on Thursday, April 29, 2010. Beloved husband of the late Mary (Kirkpatrick) Bartoloni. Loving father of Dr. Joseph Bartoloni, Jr. and his wife Nancy Arthur of TX, Michael Bartoloni and his wife Mary Lou of Hanover and Judith Teetsell and her husband David of Hanover. Grandfather of Amie and Anthony Bartoloni and Kimberly Teetsell. Joseph’s whole life revolved around his family and his work. He took great pride in being able to provide for them. He was the owner/operator of Shawmut Hardware Co., in Hingham for 32 years and in the industry for a total of 60 years. He and his wife enjoyed many cruises together. They also built a house on Cape Cod where they lived for many years. Mr. Bartoloni was one of the original members of Webb’s Gym in Norwell and a longtime fitness enthusiast. He was a former commissioner of Hingham Youth Baseball, longtime usher at Church of the Resurrection and loved ballroom dancing. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Tuesday, May 4, 2010 from 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 prior to the Funeral Mass in Church of the Resurrection, Hingham at 10 AM. Burial in High Street Cemetery, Hingham. Donations in memory of Joseph may be made to the Alzheimer’s Assn., MA Chapter, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
