Riley, John W. of Quincy, January 7, 2005. Husband of the late Ottilie (Rains). Beloved father of Richard Riley and his wife Janet of Quincy, Kathleen and her husband Ed Lape of NC, C. Susan Riley of AZ, Kevin Riley and his wife Mara of MD, Lisa and her husband Jim Cooney of Braintree, William Riley and his wife Donna of Weymouth, David Riley of Quincy and the late John Riley. Father-in-law of Inger Riley of WI. Loving brother of Joanne Donovan of CT and the late Julian Riley and Richard S. Riley. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the NORTH QUINCY Keohane Funeral Home, 333 Hancock St., NORTH QUINCY Monday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, North Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 3 – 7 PM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. Mr. Riley served in the Army in WWII. He also served in the Armed Forces Radio Service in Toyoko, Japan. Mr. Riley loved to travel and ventured to such places as Russia, Spain, Germany, England, Norway. He enjoyed camping, reading and woodworking. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mr. Riley may be made to American Red Cross, Tsunami Relief Fund, P.O. Box 37243, Washington, D.C. 20013.
