He graduated from Boston Trade School and attended Northeastern University, Wentworth Institute and Franklin Institue. John is the longest member of the I.B.E.W. Local #103 Electrical Union in Boston. He received his 82 year pin this past year. He worked for Massachusetts Electric from 1930 to 1958, prior to working for the MBTA, and then again from 1965 to 1970 in the construction division. John lived at the River Bay Club in Quincy for the past two years and could be seen dancing and playing pool on any given day, right up until this year. He made several good friends there.
