John W. “Jack” Hannan

 John W. “Jack” Hannan, of Quincy, died April 24, 2013.

Jack was born in Boston and lived in Quincy most of his life.  He was a graduate of North Quincy High School and Curry College in Milton.  He was an avid sports fan and was inducted into the North Quincy High School Football Hall of Fame.  Jack enjoyed the sun, ocean and spending time on his boat.  Jack will be remembered by his family as a loving man with a kind heart and great sense of humor.  Above all things, Jack Jr. was the cornerstone of Jack’s life, he cherished every moment he spent with  his son. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known him. 

Loving and cherished  father of John “Jack” Hannan, Jr. of Bear, Delaware.  Beloved son of Bernice J. (Pudlo) Hannan of Quincy and the late George F. Hannan.  Devoted brother of Kenneth Hannan and his wife Mindy of Charlton, Gail Linehan and her husband Brian  of Milton, George F. Hannan, Jr.  and his wife Jeanne of Quincy and Palm Beach Gardens, and Paul F. Hannan and his wife Amy  of Palm Beach Gardens. Former husband of Eileen (Clare) Hannan of Bear, Delaware.  Jack is also lovingly survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 3-5 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM.  Burial will be in Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline.
