John W. Emde

John W. Emde of Weymouth, died June 12, 2017.

John proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Carter Rice as a forklift operator and was a member of the Teamsters for over 35 years. After retiring, John could often be found reading the daily paper, challenging himself with crosswords or watching sports, especially the Red Sox. He will be dearly missed

Beloved husband of 58 years to Elizabeth (Pepe) Emde of Weymouth. Devoted father of Judy Emde of Weymouth and Steven Emde and his wife Rachel of Brockton. Brother-in-law of Carmella LoPresti and her husband Joseph, William Pepe and his wife Elaine, all of Weymouth.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street). Funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Friday at 11 AM. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.
