John W. Coyle

John W. Coyle Jr. age 85 a lifelong resident of Weymouth passed away Feb. 21, 2013. 

John retired from the U.S. Postal Service where he was a letter carrier for 36 years in E. Weymouth and Wollaston.  He also retired from the South Shore National Bank in Quincy where he was a maintenance worker for 30 years.   He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps.  

Beloved husband of 58 years of B. Jean (Bjorkman) Coyle.  Devoted father of Ellen J. Warner and her husband Ken of Cohasset, Peggy Ann Stanton and her husband Mark of Whitman and John W. Coyle III of Weymouth.  Brother of Ellen Gurry and her husband Ed of Arizona.  John is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and his large extended family.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. in the McDondald Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main St. (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hosp.)  Relatives and friends will gather at the funeral home Tuesday at 8:30 A.M. prior to the Funeral Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth Landing at 9:30 A.M.  Interment will be at a later date in Village Cemetery, Weymouth. 

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John’s memory to the charity of your choice.
