Cremin, John V. of Quincy suddenly on November 27, 2006. The beloved husband of Marjorie E. (Gavin) Cremin of Quincy and the late Katherine V. (Sullivan) Cremin. Loving father of John V. Cremin, Jr. of Littleton, N.H., Mary Cremin of Quincy and Joseph M. Cremin of Marlboro. Step father of John Francis of Acton, Christine Lindsay of Weymouth and Paul Francis of Plymouth Brother of the late Leo Cremin. Devoted grandfather of Patrick Cremin, Jennifer & Stephen Lindsay, Colleen & Katherine Francis, Laura, Sarah and Ryan Francis. John is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Friday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 2- 4 & 7- 9 PM Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Donations in memory of John may be made to the Alzheimers Association, MA Chapter, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472. John is a W.W.II Navy veteran. John grew up in Brighton and spent many years in South Boston before moving to Quincy 50 years ago. John served in the United states Navy during W.W II. He worked for the Watertown Arnseal Company for 20 years before they closed. He then took a position with M.I.T. in Cambridge where he worked for 28 years as a machinist before he retired back in 1996. John loved to travel visiting places such as Ireland, Niagra Falls& New Hampshire. He was an avid sports man. His sons remember how devoted he was taking them to all their early morning practices and games. He really enjoyed working around the house redoing room after room. He was a very hard worker and dedicated to his family. He loved his dogs especially his beloved German Shepherd “Chip”. He was very proud of his Irish roots and love to listen to Irish music.
