John Truglia

Truglia, John of Hull formerly of Italy. Beloved husband of Gilda (Scalzo) of Hull. Loving father of Antonio “Tony” Truglia of Hull and his fiance Phaedra Martell of Marshfield, and Diana Truglia of Hull. Son of the late Antonio and Maria Truglia. Cherished brother of Maria Aiello of Italy, Josephine Marascio and Anthony Truglia, both of Hull. Loving uncle to several nieces and nephews. John was a friend to everyone he met and was helpful to all. His passion was working at home in the garden and landscaping his yard. He also enjoyed visiting his family and friends in Italy and has made at least ten visits back since coming to America as an 11 year old boy. He was a member of the Hull Knights of Columbus and the Hingham Sons of Italy. Above all else John loved his family. His nieces and nephews respected him as a friend as well as their loving uncle.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull.
